The new Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 with upgraded performance will arrive on July 10, at Galaxy Unpacked event which is being held in Paris. This move is said to have been planned to maximise promotion for the product ahead of the Paris Olympics Games which starts on July 26, 2024, says a report. The main highlight of the new Galaxy watch 7 would be its processor. Its predecessor, Galaxy watch 6 used a 5 nm processor named Exynos W930 and the new Galaxy Watch 7 will feature 3 nm Exynos 1000 processor which is labelled as the world’s most advanced wearable processor.

Compared to Apple’s Watch Series and Apple Watch Ultra 2 which uses 5 nm processor called S9, the new processor provides greater performance and 20% more power efficiency. The Galaxy Watch 7 is speculated to have an internal storage of 32 GB which is two times more than what its predecessor featured. The watch is also speculated to have many AI features including one’s that will make the health and fitness features of the watch more precise. There are also talks about the phone featuring a new version of One UI Watch which is based on Google’s Wear OS 5, which is under development already.

The speculations are pointing to the watch being released in three versions, the standard Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch 7 Pro and Galaxy Watch Ultra. At least one version of the watch is expected to feature a square display. There has been no confirmation as to whether the new chip will be featured in all versions of the watch.

There is no option other than to wait till the Galaxy Unpacked event for solid details about what the watch will feature. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 phones will also be unveiled at the event.
